A American-Palestinian teenager who spent a nine-month period in imprisonment by Israel absent formal charges was released.

Mohammed Ibrahim was 15 when he was arrested in February throughout the West Bank territory, during a family visit from his Florida home for allegedly throwing stones at Jewish settlers, which he previously denied.

United States authorities applauded the news of Mohammed's release.

Now sixteen years old, required hospitalization right after being freed, family members reported.

They said he is visibly pale and thin, and is suffering from conditions acquired while detained.

Through an official statement, family spokesperson conveyed their "overwhelming sense of relief".

Family member Zeyad Kadur stated the family experienced "living a horrific and endless nightmare" throughout the past nine months.

"Right now, we are focused on getting Mohammed urgent medical care necessary for his recovery after being subjected to harsh conditions and inhumane conditions for months."

US officials said it would continue to provide consular support for the Ibrahim family.

{"US government authorities gives utmost importance than the safety and security of American nationals"," officials stated.

A group of American legislators endorsed a document to the state department and the administration, requesting additional efforts to secure his release.

Mr Ibrahim, parent of four children operating an ice cream shop from Florida, previously claimed Mohammed acknowledged allegations regarding stone throwing due to physical abuse.

The father hadn't visited or communicated with his son since the arrest, and only heard regarding the treatment through judicial records.

The teenager remained absent formal charges in Ofer prison throughout the occupied territory.

The facility also contains grown detainees, including individuals found guilty for major terrorist activities and homicide.

There are around 350 Palestinian minors in security custody being held in Israeli jails, based on prison authority data.

Many have never been charged and human rights groups, including UN bodies, document cases involving abuse and torture.

Subsequent to his liberation, Mr Kadur said they would maintain their efforts demanding accountability for their family member their cousin Sayfollah.

The dual national youth per medical officials was beaten to death by radical settlers during a confrontation last July.

At the time, military authorities reported officials were investigating reports a Palestinian civilian was deceased.

The two cousins collaborated in the family ice cream shop in Tampa, Florida.

No charges have been filed with Sayfollah's killing.

"We demand United States leadership to safeguard our relatives," family representatives emphasized.
